Today I am working on a shirt. I like to trace a pattern out on Swedish Tracing paper and then tailor tack the pattern. All the extra work is worth it. I can see where the lines are when I am placing pieces together. Back to work I go.

Pattern I am working on
I am currently working on a dress for a very sweet girl I know. She wanted a princess dress and I think this fits the requirement. I am making dress C from the picture.
Be well friends.

Wonky with Good Intentions
Hello friends,
I am starting this blog to share my creative efforts. I love to sew, crochet, embroider, and painting. There is so much that I want to learn to do so much more like knitting, and oil painting. One of the things that brings me great joy is creating for other people. I am always searching for ideas for handmade gifts. I am not sure how often I will post but I have high hopes because I have been considering this blog for over a year. Now it is here. I am happy you are here with me. This is where we start. It is nice to be at the beginning.
I hope to share techniques I learn on the way. For instance have you ever bought a pattern and then had no idea how to read the gobbly gook it has for instructions? I have and somehow I have muddled through them. Then later figured out the terms and how to do what the pattern is asking. I love mistakes. So as I post pictures of finished projects I will not cover up the mistakes. I have always believed that true learning comes from the mistakes we make. It is an opportunity to grow and to get better. So I want to encourage you to point out the flaws and if you know how to fix it or a better way to do something, share it me. Ask questions. Join the conversation. We are in this together.
Thank you for your support and following along.
Be well my friends.
Trish
